How old is she? Maddie had relatively no appetite right before she had her first heat. I knew it was close to the time so I would check her daily while brushing to see any changes. The first thing I noticed was the size of her nipples increasing, then right before she started (approx 2 days) her vulva doubled in size. The first week was just discharge mixed with a tiny bit of blood, second was full on blood, third was the discharge mix again, and then it slowly tapered off in the fourth week.
