Haven't used a raw diet for ten years yet, but have for five and a half years with my 4 pound Yorkie, Zoe -- introduced it gradually as soon as we brought her home at 8 weeks. She has *all* her teeth and has been extremely healthy. Her brother, who is owned by someone else, has lost all of his teeth already, so we're pretty happy with it so far.

We try to alternate two or more different brands -- mostly Primal Nuggets and Nature's Variety to be sure to get as many nutrients as possible, but we have also used Halshan and have had great results. We have to be careful of brands that have bone pieces that are too large. She gets a small Wysong Anergen snack between her two meals daily, but otherwise it's raw all the way. She makes sure that we don't forget!
