We are hoping that he will not have to,but time will tell. We are going to be working really hard to get him going to start with. But after that if he can get his stability then hopefully yes he can go with out. Balance is key here with him. And he used to cross his legs or I should say he crosses his legs. He seems not to cross his legs as much in the wheels.
