They'll probably want to take a urine sample for a urinalysis and may do a culture. They'll probably also want to do a blood work-up to rule out anything more serious (cats are prone to kidney problems). If it's an infection they'll give you antibiotics. Lacy just had a UTI about a month ago and was on Clavamox for almost three weeks
