Default Don't think you are ready for a dog

I was informed this morning that my sister had given her a small amount of Mighty Dog that my other dog eats and its chopped up so I kind of think it was the gravy from that food that she ate on Thursday and thats the day she started to get the diarrhea. The only reason I waited is because I figured it was that food so I thought I'd give her a day or 2 to recooperate. But when she did it again on Saturday morning I was worried. And she's doing it again today. This may seem gross but the smell of the poop is exactly the smell of the food she's eating. She hasnt eaten Mighty Dog since Friday and she's still doing it. But she has had boiled chicken a few times and thats what it smells like. A dog shouldnt be as much work as I've had to do with her. I feel so helpless because I can't seem to make her all better. I was reading up about Guardia and I think thats what she has. I will bring to the vet for sure but I've had to do so many things for this poor puppy and I dont think I can afford to do this all the time. Should I take her back to the breeder? Can I get any suggestions on what to do? Please someone help me.
I think that you should probably bring the pup back to the breeder, so they can find her a home that is more ready for a puppy. I don't want to sound harsh, you are probably a great person but it doesn't sound like you have educated yourself on yorkies or puppies. Also, it is a lifetime commitment with that animal, what you have gone through is nothing compared to what you could go through in the future. My yorkie, Brooke, was diagnosed with a rare and incurable brain disease right after her first birthday. Since then she had a stroke and couldn't walk, stand or even move. She had no control of her bowels and had to be on 4 medicines at varying times during the day. I had to take off work to care for her and tend to her needs 24/7. We spent about $5200 for her veterinary care in the last 3 months. There are no guarantees in life, it is o.k. if you are not prepared to care for her, just be honest with yourself and let her have a home where they will care for her in good times and in bad. (By the way, Brooke is now running and jumping and playing with her brothers and sisters. I have nursed her back to health and she is on a drug protocol that we hope will put her into remission soon!)
