he was being very short with my daughter...and talking over me to her. like if i was telling her to do something...or talking to her about something..he would talk over me and tell her to do something else. or when i told her to take the onions off of her meatloaf...he said to her "just put it aside and eat it when you get done". it's like i would make a decision on something...and he would go over me. i want to say "she's my kid....not yours...let me be the parent" but i know that is not the right way to act because he is helping me raise her. but he just irritates me.
then when she was being whiny he said something like "she will never be married" and i said "well, let's hope she does then someone else can deal with her being like that" and started kinda laughing. well..he came back with "no, you can deal with it in your own house where it is just the 2 of you" i said "why wait until then...why don't you just leave now" he said "because i can't afford another house"
so i asked him if he was just staying with me because he can't afford another house and he wouldn't answer me. so i said "don't let that stop you...I'LL move out"
he hasn't said anything since.
