I'm so sorry Amber. You did exactly the right thing for both of you though. He knew you were with him and knew that you loved him and he showed you that he loved you and wanted to be with you near the end too, so it was his way of saying goodbye for now. How incredibly sweet! May he rest in peace and bring you many happy memories.
