I have given her boiled chicken and rice already she didnt like it too much. She's drinking water and eating like normal. The breeder I got her from actually gave me a can of Mighty Dog to give to her. She's bred yorkies for a long time and has always given her dogs that same food. I was informed this morning that my sister had given her a small amount of Mighty Dog that my other dog eats and its chopped up so I kind of think it was the gravy from that food that she ate on Thursday and thats the day she started to get the diarrhea. The only reason I waited is because I figured it was that food so I thought I'd give her a day or 2 to recooperate. But when she did it again on Saturday morning I was worried. And she's doing it again today. This may seem gross but the smell of the poop is exactly the smell of the food she's eating. She hasnt eaten Mighty Dog since Friday and she's still doing it. But she has had boiled chicken a few times and thats what it smells like. A dog shouldnt be as much work as I've had to do with her. I feel so helpless because I can't seem to make her all better. I was reading up about Guardia and I think thats what she has. I will bring to the vet for sure but I've had to do so many things for this poor puppy and I dont think I can afford to do this all the time. Should I take her back to the breeder? Can I get any suggestions on what to do? Please someone help me.
