That "someone" might have been me . Bleach is a great disinfectant/cleaning agent; however, it is toxic to your pets and family. And, it can't be used in some placed pup may mark (furniture, carpet) Now, I am a bleachaholic. I had to cut back, because many experienced breeders told me I was not only hurting my pets; but, it could have a cumulative effect on my family, as well. They suggested vinegar. White vinegar can be used on furniture and carpeting. Also, I think being like 100Xs more sensitive than human noses, a dog can tell the difference between pee and vinegar.
