oh, sorry, just now seeing this. it is only 40% off your highest priced item in your cart. but if you order more than one yard of a fabric, it takes it off all yards. example: I ordered 3 yards of HK fabric that was 14.99 per yard, and it took the 40% off all 3 yards.
