 pet food and Canada
An interesting issue that I didn't realize prior to taking my Yorkies into Canada is that when returning to the U.S., we were asked to show our dogs' pet food. Fortunately the food was in the original bag, that showed the food was made in the U.S. Had it been in a different container, they would have confiscated the food, because they wanted to ensure that the food was made here. It didn't matter that we had the food when we went into Canada, they would have taken it anyway. Make sure you keep the food in the original bag. |
