as it is, I cannot even think of a vacation where i cannot take the babies .... I would miss them too much!!!

I hear you there~ vet's and grooming are the same here; and my dad lives in HAWAII and has a condo too that he rents out, except to family..we get it for free ...and I used to do the Ironman triathlon almost every year.....all that has come to a screeching halt since we got Max....if he can't go comfortably, we (or I) don't go. I sure do miss Hawaii though...but I'd miss Max and worry about him the entire time I was gone if he wasn't with me.
