You are getting great advice already. The only thing I would add is that since he's not had a good start on potty training, it's possible he might potty in his little kennel. Crating him will teach him to hold it, but it may be hard for him at first. If he does, don't get frustrated, don't scold, just clean. When we brought Coby home, he pooped and peed in his kennel every single night for nearly 2 weeks. Then he quit and never has since and is trained with no accidents for weeks (knock on wood, because I know he'll make a liar out of me now!!). Your little one is going to be a treasure, I just know it. And on the days he's proving me wrong...... we're all here for you.
