i know it is totally frustrating but thankfully he is still young enough to be trained somewhat easily. you have made a commitment to this pup...so now you will just have to do all you can to train him. and understand that there will be a lot of frustrating moments in the process. just pray for a little extra patience and be VERY consistent. he will train. he will be a great dog...if you work hard at it.

you also need to make sure that you are making it impossible for him to eat all the other food. he does not need to be able to do this. you have to take control.
