She was prgenant with 5 and we lost the first two :-( Stillborn with the intestines outside!! Needless to say, my vet recieved a few phone calls from me that night...or should I say weeee hours of the morning! She assured me that it was nothing genetic or because of dam or sire, but she was surprised to hear that we had two in the litter that were affected. She said it is a very rare birth defect, and two was surprising. We have 3 healthy beautiful pups doing great. I'm just about to take moms temp and weigh in the puppies for the day to see how they are progressing.
