I can't believe it either....one lady did tell me its because he is bigger than most yorkies, chocolate and has floppy ears. I didn't tape his ears because I really didn't care either way if they stood up or were floppy. I let nature do its thing, lol. I love his floppy ears; I think they are cute. He is such a sweetheart too. Yeah, the training idea may not would work because of what you said but, it may work and may be worth a shot. I got Daisy (my chihuahua) when she was a year and 1/2 and she was already trained and has had no problem listening to me. Thank you for your help!
