Both fabrics are pretty. I say make them for the girls only. Let the boys have the more sporty winterwear. I really have never liked houndstooth because of a coat I had as a child. I do however see the black and white houndstooth as a beautiful coat. I agree with the person who said hot pink in the lining and black faux fur on the outside. That would be so feminine. The black and red could be an option but I do not care for it. I prefer the black and white. Can't wait to see a feminine little coat made from that houndstooth.
