My pup was nuetered at 7 months and had one testicle that never dropped. The vet had to "pop" out the one that was hidden. She told me at that time I should contact his breeder and let her know this had happened as it was information she should have for her breeding program. Evidently it is a genetic thing -- so it also might make your puppy ineligible to breed (but I am by no means and expert on this, so don't quote me!). Good luck!
