I was having the same problem with Sugar. I generally have all of the dogs' teeth cleaned professionally once a year but last year I had to have Sugar's teeth cleaned TWICE and he still had stinky breath. At 3 pounds I'm not thrilled with that much anesthesia.

Sooo, here is what has worked miracles for me- Petzlife Oral Gel. I can not say enough about it. Sugar hates the taste but I just stick a pea sized bit under his front teeth and it has made all of the difference in the world. It worked on his breath instantly but it has enzymes that kill the bacteria so it's long lasting. At first I did it twice a day, then once a day and now I do it 2- 3 a week. It's amazing!
