Question Pink Spot

He suggested that we take a biopsy of the spot I'm guessing to make sure its not cancer. The estimate in cost was nearly $500 to knock her out, take the biopsy and send the sample out to a lab for testing.

Has anyone ever experienced similar spots on their Yorkie's nose? What could be the cause of this mark?

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Are you feeding your dog(s) from plastic bowls? My boy used to get small pink pimply looking spots all around his muzzle and mouth, years ago. I had heard about allergies to plastic so I purchased ceramic bowls. The spots went away for good after that. Other than that, I'm afraid I don't know what else that could be either. But I doubt that it's cancer though. Oh, I just remembered something; when I got my puppy, her and the older dog would wrestle around a lot and she got badly scratched on her muzzle. It bled and after putting on ointment every day for a week and a half, the crust fell off and there was a pinky nail sized spot left that stayed pink for a long time. It finally healed and hair grew back. After that incident I purchased a Dremel to grind off both dog's toenails to a nicely blunt, rounded off tip!
Can you maybe post a picture of your dog's pink spot?
