Here's one for ya,
Got a letter today from the AKC stating that my Maltese, Rowdy, is excluded to his dam (can not be the offspring of)!!!
I sent his DNA in about a year ago because he has sired 7 litters. (you know the routine.)
The AKC tells me to contact the breeder I got Rowdy from for more info. I know she moved, and I bought him 5 years ago.
What's even more upsetting to me is all the families that have bought my pups over the years and papered them all, their registrations have been put on referral as has Rowdys until there is a conclusion. I guess the breeder has to supply DNA from which ever Dam she thinks is the mom, I don't know if she even HAS to. I know I'm going to be getting alot of calls from the families because they all got the same letter I got today. I don't know what to tell them. Who would use another Dams number for reg.???? What the heck is wrong with people??
