My Lily does this sometimes as well. Most of the time it's good dreams,but sometimes I feel shes having a nightmare. ( She whimpers & such with what I think are bad dreams ) I usually just gently wake her and giver her love and cuddles and she goes right back to sleep.
I'm sure its normal and nothing to worry about.
