I don't know if this is true for dogs, but my Husband had one on his lower leg last summer. We never figured out where it came from. Anyway, we used two topical creams and it woulnt get better. Our Dr told us to swab it with rubbing alcohol and let it dry before applying the cream.(Ketoconazole) It started to clear up within days of using the alcohol. If it is on his eye of course you cant use the alcohol, but anywhere else and it might help. Good luck
