I have a bunch of red bumps on the back of my tongue and I was freaking out and so I went and asked my doctor. He said everyone has them mine are just bigger and he gets people asking him about them all the time. It's nothing at all to worry about. I hate looking stuff up on the internet because 9 times out of 10 they make it sound way worse than it actually is. My husband gets a sore right about where you say yours is and he gets them when he gets stressed. I use to get little white bumps all in my mouth before my wedding because I was stressed so much. I couldn't close my mouth at night and my tongue would just flop out the side of my mouth. It was bad. I'd go get it looked at just to be safe but I bet it's nothing.
