Even if your parents give you a car, gas prices are enough to teach you the value of money!!
Not everyone is the same. I had 2 nice cars given to me scott-free by the time I was 18... and I am in NO way ungrateful, nor do I not know the value of money. I don't think its the parents responsibility to give their kid a car, but if the kid is deserving and the parents can do it, why not?? Plus, its just something extra they can take from you if you mess up!!
