Wow! I can completely understand where you and your husband are coming from. At least he DOES pay it though. I think in your case it is a VERY good idea to do what you are doing. I would make sure to keep all the receipts, that way if she tries going after him the way I am my ex, ya'll can explain the situation and have proof.
