Well, I was given a nice used car by my parents when I was 16, and then my granddaddy bought me a new car when I graduated high school which i still have now. I don't know what I would have done if my family hadn't bought cars for me because I sure couldn't have bought one on my own. I think parents should buy cars for their kids as long as they can afford it... Not saying it should be a porsche but at least a decent car. If your son really asked for a porsche he must have a serious reality problem unless you are pretty wealthy. I think most teenagers would be happy with any car so long as it's a decent one.
