I posted a thread last week on the midwest section. I was telling how I had taken Kahlie to the vet for a routine check up and I asked him to check her urine. I noticed that she was going to the bathroom a lot and drinking more than usual. He did a urine test which shows signs of suger and then he did the blood work. I was 450!! I started her on her shots the next day and we did okay the first. I took Kahlie back to the vet one week later and her readings were 147. Still high I know but we are the way down. She is taking 7 units every 12 hours and we are hanging in there. She is sitting on the arm of my couch as I type so I know she is happy for all of those that said a little prayer for you. You should see her now, her spunk in back in her step and she even looks youger!! Today she actually jumped up on my bed and has not done that is ages. Thanks to all Love,
