I'm an event planner here at work and Lisa - you have the toughest part of the job right now...finding a venue and securing pricing. I agree with Des - find the location and then post what the pricing per night is and then we'll decide if we can go or not. It would be fine with me to either get a single room or room with someone to cut costs then you can spend more at the vendor fair...lol.
Once you get the venue then you could start another thread to see who would like to room with each other - that would help too with costs.
