I have hypothyrodism for the last 16 years right after having my son. I take synthroid .300 mcg which is the highest dose. I had excessive bleeding, always cold, dry skin, weight gain, brittle nails, always tired, memory foggy & lose tons of hair.....thank God I have enough hair for 5 people. I have had terrible results when I skip my daily dose. A woman’s TSH level should ideally be less than 5.0. Mine have been as high as 30. Here is a chart on normal results.
