Fish by-product
could be scales and chicken by-product could be feathers or feces (chicken poo!) ... sounds yummy, no? It could be anything really, so I'm not saying every food at the grocery store has chicken poop in it, but a lot of low-end companies put some nasty things in their food. I really like the star ratings at dogfoodanalysis.com because things could have some not so disgusting by-products that do more good than bad.
