I have 2 furbabies. Chloe, 14 months old, a maltichon, came first. She is very much a people person. She loves my 2 cats and 1 bird but runs the household. After a lot of debate about whether to get a second dog, we decided to get a Yorkie. Along comes Bella, now 6 months old. I got her this past July. They got along great from day 1. They have definitely bonded to the point I do feel left out sometimes.

Don't get me wrong, both of them love on me and I get lots of puppy kisses

but you can tell they really enjoy each others company and like to play together. Chloe is still very much a people person and she still comes to me with her toys wanting to play tug of war or wanting to sit in my lap but she also likes to play with Bella. Bella is also very lovey. She will give me kisses all over my face or stand up and put her feet on my leg to be picked up but she definitely loves her sissy.

They both sleep together in the same crate, ride together in the stroller, eat together......Bella also gets along great with the cats although I think she wants to eat the bird.
Anyway, that is my experience. I think most dogs will get along great together. I would just try to love on them equally and give them individual time with you. I think you will enjoy having 2.
