Thanks ya'll. I have another woman coming next week but I think she is going to be mostly an outdoor dog there.She is aware of the vet bills which is good but I was hoping to find a indoor home for her because of her allergies. I am not sure if it is flea or contact but there is no way to tell as long as she is in a flea environment. I did bathe her and frontline her not long ago but she was still itchy from the fleas in the house biting her.
We will see what happens, luzangela that was SOOO sweet of you to offer but before the rest of her problems can be addressed she has to be removed from the home. I have checked into a rescue but I would love for her to go to a forever home if I can get her to one. Thanks guys, dawn
P.S. The laws in Va are not such that they will remove dogs from this situation and I would hate to get the kid in trouble, it isn't her fault the mom is a whacko. I will do what I can and I did find a no kill shelter for the mutts
