1.5-2 pounds ground sirloin (to make it more lean you can use ground turkey for 1/2 of the meat)
1/4 cup chopped onion (more if you like extra)
3 beef bouillon cubes (disolved in approx 3/4 cup hot water)
1 egg
1 cup bread crumbs (home made is best, toast bread in toaster and break up into the meat)
Saute onion in 2 Tablespoon butter. Mix all ingredients together and pat into loaf pan. Bake 350 Degrees for 45 min to 1 hour. You can put ketchup on top 15 min before done.
NOTE if you do not have onion or bouillon cubes use 1 packet of Lipton Onion Soup Mix instead! | Mine is very similar to this, but I use tomato sauce instead of bouillon cubes and I also add parmesan cheese! Just gives it a neat "whang". |
