You are such a GREAT mommie buying your fresh green tripe and chopping it up. BLECH!!
Anyway, I found this place, www.greentripe.com and they do that for you and send it frozen. I'm thinking of trying it that way.
Thanks for the info! |
LMFAO, girl, when I brought this THING in my house and emptied the bag in my kitchen sink I screamed out loud. It looked l ike a creature from the black lagon, NO kidding, it was a frightening thing to see and let alone TOUCH, EWWWWWWWW but I had to do it, even using gloves the acids from the cows stomach penetrated and made holes in my rubber gloves lol.
Its the best thing we can feed our babies. Now I used to feed him this at nights as his main meal with mashed potato and carrots, but now I have him on a meat porridge and give the tripe as a mid day yummy, in ground form or slab, he enjoys the slab as he is now teething and it helps pull those milkies out

.
Let me take a look at the site and see. Dont use canned, anythign in a can is processed and is NO longer green, anythign that is cooked and or touched tampered with, washed etc is no longer green. The white tripe you see in the stores is beleached for human consumption and has no nutrients at all. Do not feed your baby this. Best you give him a dirty sock in stead

he will enjoy that better

let me go have a look at the site before you order ok.
Do you live someplae near a farm or cattle ranch, goat, sheep, lamb farm?
