Is there a way you can take her with you? Have someone watch her in the car?
Since mine are usually done at home, I put the dam outside to run, so that she doesn't get anxious if hears pups squeel (and at time they do at times), but she's close enough to put her back with pups as soon as the procedure is completed. Nursing does comfort them.
