I wouldn't rule out a little boy because of this issue. In fact, as good natured as this little boy is, I would probably not choose another girl. Also, I've heard it is much easier to bring a male into a home with a female, rather than adding another female. I'm finding this to be true. | This is good to hear. I too will be getting my first yorkie male in about 3 weeks or so. I currently have a female. I am hoping to not have any issues as far as marking goes. I will be sure to stay on top of this.
I had two male pugs and someone told me that if I could housebreak them and not have any problems w/marking I would do great w/a yorkie. I hope this is true! They say pugs are very spiteful and VERY hard to get them to not mark. I never had a problem - hope I can be that lucky a third time! |
