I thought I wanted another girl too, thinking like you, girls are easier to train to pads, and no leg lifting. Then the cutest little boy became available and I began to research the potty training subject. Our new little boy is already trained to pads and Ruby (our girl) has never caught on to the concept.

I wouldn't rule out a little boy because of this issue. In fact, as good natured as this little boy is, I would probably not choose another girl. Also, I've heard it is much easier to bring a male into a home with a female, rather than adding another female. I'm finding this to be true.
