It is very hot here as well and we have to make the girls go outside at times...but we are very careful on the pavement because they can burn their paws on the hot ground, so we make sure they stay in the grass while it is so hot...we also take them swimming on really hot days, that way they stay a little cooler, if you don't have a pool, you can buy a baby pool, our like that too...that way they are getting exercise and staying cool...
Another thing is we take the girls for a walk in the evening when it cools off a little, it is still hot, but not like the middle of the day...
