Her reasoning was like Erin said - it encourages pulling. I guess I felt that being as little as she is, there wouldn't be much of a pulling competition among us. She did well on the harness. I feel like we have already started out on the wrong foot with the trainer. I will definitely look into purchasing a show lead or a leader. Thanks for the link!
