I'm a new Yorkie owner (actually new Toy breed owner as well) and Darla is now 7 months old and started her period last night. I just bought a little denim-looking pants thing at Petsmart that we are going to use. Any idea on how long the period will last? I'm sure it depends on the dog - they're all different. Also, how frequently should I expect her to have them? I know it depends on her cycle, but I've heard twice a year.
