While we were walking to the subway, we were stopped by a police officer who told us to make sure we keep her in the bag while we ride the subway.
Mckenna was so scared when the train came in the station that she started shaking and curled up in a ball on one side of the bag. Once we got off the train though and outside, we let her out and she was her happy self again. She had a great time meeting all of the dogs, small and big!
Overall, I think that if the dog is not disturbing anyone, it's fine to bring them on public transportation. I plan on bringing Mckenna with me from now on when I need to make quick trips into the city. |
So glad to hear your trip to the city with McKenna went well. I was just wondering, how much does McKenna weigh? My Yorkie is 8 pounds. I was just curious if they would say something because he isn't that small. Also, how long was the ride on Metro-North for you? For me it takes like 30 minutes. I am wondering if my Yorkie would stay calm for that long.
