I don't live in Texas but I do live in Florida. So I have been through this many times before. Its best if you for batteries, flashlights, I am not sure about the ice because it will melt soon enough. You need a radio..full charged to check out the warnings for the hurricane. You need a route just incase anything bad happens. First Aid Kit...A generator. Canned Goods...But nothing that can like spoil over night. You can have crackers...snacks. That kinda thing. Umm probably I would say I just brought a little tv for hurricanes so me and my family can stay tuned in for the weather purposes. Blankets lots of water. Just in case. Just take alot of gallons and like reagular water bottle...Like a few cases. And not to forget cash as well.
