 Hurricane Emily
Has anyone been keeping up with this? I've heard that it's up to a category 4 and it hasn't even entered the gulf yet. It's suppose to hit the Brownsville area but with our low pressure that we have right now, it could come up our way. Even if it doesn't we have to worry about the tornadoes and power outeages that last for days at a time.
I was here for Claudette and that was only a category 2/3. I think that I'm going to go to Lowes or Home Depot and start buying plywood to be prepared. My husband is working night through Monday night so that will leave me to do all of this and to be honest, I'm scared.
Does anyone have suggestions? I know to stock up on water, ice, candles and batteries. What do you suggest? |
