I am a new user so forgive me if this topic was discussed before. About two weeks ago my Yorkie had an ear infection. The vet gave him Clavamax (antibiotic) and also twice a day treatment of Otomax. After two weeks I stopped the antibiotic and Otomax treatment and 2 days later his ears appear to be warm and pinky. It looks like the infection is coming back. He started to scratch his ears again. Not as before though. I was sure that after this kind of treatment he will be OK for a long time. What should I do? Does anyone have the problem like this? I think about some kind of allergy but to find out what allergy he has may cost around $500.
