If you want to stop them altogether:
* Click on User CP in the blue bar
* Click on User Options on the left
* Under "Default Thread Subscription Mode," open the popup and say No e-mail notification.

Ok, i just got a yahoo address, but i don't see user options or default thread mode??? Maybe it is too early.
I do see edit email and password, will that do it?
I already tried that with my present email and password to try and get it going, but it didn't work.
