 patterns
I too used my dog to create a pattern and now i can custom off that pattern. You can get patterns from walmart, just look in the books under craft and find the one you like and go pull it from the drawer it is easy as that but i cannot use there patterns that is why i created my own. I agree with the first one looking funny. When i started sewing almost 3 years ago now the dress i made for sassy was cute but she couldn't walk in it. I didn't take into consideration that it couldn't be an enclosed dress. That poor girl it was so funny. Like they said below keep trying you will get it. If you email me i can make a custom fit pattern for you dog for a small fee. I will cut it to where it will fit your pet beautifully including seam allowances. Email for pics of the styles.
