From the pictures, it doesn't look horrible. I'm a nurse, if it makes you feel any better. The pics are a bit blurry, but it appears red and swollen - is it "open" at all? It doesn't look to be. But it probably is infected, in some way.
The 4 signs of infection are always: redness, pain, heat, and swelling. She should be just fine until tomorrow. Do you have any left over antibiotics that are still good? You could give those.
