Does your friend have a vet that she can call? How about an emergency vet? I certainly would check this out. Maybe the poor thing just ate too much and too fast. You didn't say if this is a little Yorkie of a bigger dog. What kind of dog, and how big is it? There are many more people on here who may know more, but if this is a little dog (Yorkie), I would check it out with a vet.
