DivaPup: I feel so bad for those dogs too - THere are so many people that actually DO collect dogs and cats and the sad thing is it's usually more than they can ever pay attention to or care for - this is a good example - I commend you for helping with this situation ...it's sad and probably so frustrating for you - but with people like YOU helping - they stand a good chance of getting into a good home - I hope she realizes what a good friend you really are.
